Residential Addiction Recovery Home

Applying Biblical Truth to the Root of Addiction

Why Residential Discipleship

Residential

At Crossroads Transition Home, we believe that residential living is the most effective way to demonstrate Christianity on a practical level.  Living together with like-minded men provides the ideal circumstance to witness Christians living out their faith. That includes walking through the good and bad days, handling pain and joy, and seeing what it means to truly live free of the bondage of sin with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Discipleship

The standard definition of “disciple” (noun) is someone who adheres to the teachings of another.  It is a follower or a learner. It refers to someone who takes up the ways of someone else. Applied to Jesus Christ, a disciple is someone who learns from Him, to live like Him.  Someone who, because of God’s awakening grace, conforms his words and his ways to the words and ways of Jesus Christ.
“IF YOU ABIDE IN MY WORD, YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES INDEED.  AND YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE.”
(JOHN 8:31-32)

Who We Are.

We are men who have experienced addiction and its destruction first hand.  We have sacrificed everything of value in our lives to feed this addiction.   We have been at rock bottom and hopeless.

We cried out to the only one left listening, to Jesus Christ. Out of the depths He rescued us; He has given us new life, a reason to live, and hope for the future.  He is our Savior.

We fully believe that the only cure for the sin of addiction is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through the study of His word, fellowship with His people, and prayer, we have found freedom.  Freedom from a life of bondage to drugs and alcohol.

Our mission is to share the freedom we have found with others who are battling addiction.
